Think of any way you wouldn't have to use electricity, like using a barbeque or keeping a veggie garden. Not sure about radio as far as a huge solar flare but just wait it out with the food you stored and money that you keep outside of the bank (if they close), extend refills for longer time if doctors allow it. And keep a weapon for self defense even if it's a bat. I never been through something like this but that's what I would do.
